Help Us Press 'We Are All Together EP' On Vinyl, Raising Money For Crew Nation

The ‘WE ARE ALL TOGETHER EP' is a wonderfully collaborative charity project from the 90’s California-based alternative rock band, Supreme Love Gods.

All profits from the project will be donated to CREW NATION, a charity extending a helping hand to those who found themselves out of work during the pandemic.

Spearheaded by Tommy Joy and his desire to help, he contacted his old bandmates and a host of other friends from his extensive career, and they put together the new charity EP, ‘We Are All Together’, via One Little Independent Records.

The EP collects four versions of their original track ‘Souled Out’, with musical contributions from members of BAUHAUS, KURT VILE & the VIOLATORS, THE BLACK ANGELS, UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA, THE DANDY WARHOLS, NED’S ATOMIC DUSTBIN, BLACK HEART PROCESSION, PURE, CANDY FLIP, AUTOMATIC and many more, with additional mixes/remixes done by UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA and PHENOMENAL HANDCLAP BAND. They repurposed the old masters, circa 1992 for this project, including the lead vocals, backing vocals, guitars, bass guitar and horn section.

The outcome is a four-track medley, a cross-genre cacophony pinned down by the original infectious hook. A no holds barred fusion of everything from rock to hip-hop. In parts, the era-defining bagginess can’t help but seep through, such as with Phenomenal Handclap Band; in others, we’re offered industrial and techno variations. Also included is 14-year-old rapper Jan Thompson who features with his topical verse.
